About us

Built by practitioners. Powered by community.

Ethics Security LLC is an Atlanta-based cybersecurity company co-founded by Chamon Gayton and C. Watts.

Our story

We’ve sat at the table. Now we’re setting it.

Between us, we’ve built and matured security programs across the military, the Fortune 500, government cloud, and high-growth tech — from FedRAMP authorizations to product security and enterprise risk.

Along the way we noticed the same thing everywhere: the people doing this work rarely get the space to talk honestly with each other. Too often, the only person who looks like you in the room is you. Ethics Security exists to change that — by convening conversations and gatherings where security professionals at every level can learn, connect, and lead with confidence.

We’re not selling services right now. We’re building community — through events, speaking, mentorship, and the books and content that make security make sense.

What guides us

The ethics in Ethics Security.

Our logo — a point above a strong foundation — is a reminder that every secure system starts with a person, and rests on trust. The six letters in our name spell out how we show up.

E

Elevate each other

We open doors, share what we know, and bring the next generation into the room with us.

T

Trust first

Security is a promise between people. We build relationships before we build anything else.

H

Humans first

People are the strongest control. We design for how humans actually think, work, and make decisions.

I

Inclusion by design

Everyone necessary to the conversation belongs in it — especially those who’ve been the only one in the room.

C

Clarity over jargon

If a board member, a new analyst, and a nine-year-old can’t follow it, we’re not done explaining.

S

Service

Rooted in military service and nonprofit work, we measure success by who we lift up along the way.

Leadership

Meet the founders.
